Once upon a time in Houston

In 2021, at a backyard cookout in Houston, our founders realized something: sangrita deserved better. Traditional mixers on shelves were either watered down, overly sweet, or missing the fresh, bold flavor found in Mexico. So they went into the kitchen and started mixing—real juices, real spices, no shortcuts.

The very first batch was shared with family and close friends. One sip in and everyone asked the same question: “Why doesn’t anyone make sangrita like this?”That moment sparked Casa Cobre.

Today, our mixers are crafted in small batches, celebrating the flavors we grew up with while reimagining them for a new generation of tequila and beer drinkers. Every bottle is made with pride in the U.S., honoring the essence of Mexican heritage.

25 Years of Friendship

Our founders—Adrian, Mary, and Josh—have been friends for more than 25 years. High school brought them together, life kept them close, and countless cookouts, celebrations, and late-night conversations shaped who they are today.

Across different careers and businesses, one thing always brought them back to the same table: good company and good drinks. After long days running restaurants, raising families, and building new ventures, their homemade sangrita became the go-to pairing for tequila and ice-cold beers. Friends loved it. Family asked for it. Soon everyone started saying, “You should bottle this.” Some things really do happen naturally.

Proudly Mexican-American Made

Casa Cobre was born from a desire to share a piece of our heritage with the people around us. Our sangrita is a bridge between cultures: Mexican roots, American craft, and the belief that drinks taste better when shared slowly and intentionally. Whether you’re hosting friends or winding down after a long day, there’s always a seat for you at Casa Cobre.

Our mission is simple:
To elevate tequila, beer, and gatherings through our Mexican-American Sangrita.
